Native MATRIX ↔ wMATRIX
Base bridge
MetaMask signs the native lock as readable Matrix EIP-712 data and submits Base contract transactions from the same address. You pay Base gas directly; there is no relayer or gas sponsorship.
Base production
Bridge deployment is live and reconciled
The founder vault holds 50,000,000 wMATRIX against exactly the same amount of MATRIX in native escrow. New locks require at least 100 MATRIX and the deployed 3-of-3 attestor threshold.
Progress
1. Wallet and network
Deployment: Base (8453)
WrappedMatrix: 0x0ec1C40829B3A5C2349Afa8C4Da6dC8B727fC87c
Explicit validators: 3
2. Lock native MATRIX
Minimum: 100 MATRIX. Recipient is fixed to the connected EVM address.
3. Collect, verify, and mint
Only not_found is retried while polling the explicit configured validators. Every signature is recovered from the contract's exact digest before simulation.
Burn wMATRIX to native
Burn a positive whole wMATRIX amount and name the exact native account that validators should unlock to. You submit the Base transaction and pay its gas.
